I chose teaching because education has always been critical to me and will always be a top priority of mine. From kindergarten to my graduating year, I always admired and looked up to my teachers. I firmly believe I loved going to school and found my passion for education is because of my teacher in grades 1 and 2. She was one of the best teachers I ever had. I am forever grateful for her, as I strongly believe I succeeded in school because of the foundation she developed in my early school years. I hope to one day follow in her footsteps and strive to be the professional she is. I want to share my passion for learning and instill the importance of education with children. I want to help build a strong foundation in the early years to help children achieve academic excellence. I know how important it is to build connections with each student and I want to create a positive and healthy working environment by sharing my passion for education with each and every student that enters through my classroom doors. I would personally like to thank my grade 1 / 2 teacher, for convincing me, without even knowing, that teaching is my passion. I am looking forward to this next chapter in my life.
As a future early-year educator I believe it is my responsibility to create a strong foundation for children in their early years of school by navigating them through school and educating their young minds in hope of a strong future. My goal is to nourish the minds of young children by providing them with the knowledge and skills they need to build a reliable future for themselves and generations to come. What I teach, is what they learn, and what they learn is how they will shape the future. As an educator, what I teach today determines the outcome of the future for my students and our society.
