The artifact I chose was the Cultivation Theory outline. My group and I created this for our team-teach presentation in Communication Theory. This presentation required the class to divide into 5 groups and select a theory of their choice to research. My group and I were expected to gather scholarly academic sources, pinpoint the key components to the theory, create an interactive activity, and lead a class lesson and discussion on the theory of our choice.

The theory I selected studies the effect that violence in the media has on a person’s perception of brutality within their lived world. This outline portrays vocabulary, principles and competencies. It effectively explains an entire theory from start to finish in a clear and appealing style. The outline has extensive vocabulary examples and principles that are clearly explained, making it a perfect example of demonstrating the necessary communication principles required to achieve the assignments expectations.
