Spectator info:

CLEAR BAG POLICY FOR SPECTATORS!!!

Each ticketed guest can carry one (1) large clear bag – either a one-gallon Ziploc-style bag, clear drawstring bag not to exceed 12” x 12” or clear bag tote no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" – plus a small clutch purse (4.5" x 7.0"). The small clutch allows privacy for small personal items and also is easily searched. Fans are encouraged to bring only necessary items into Memorial Stadium and all bags are subject to search and inspection.

Additional items not permitted inside Gies Memorial Stadium include flags/banners, noisemakers, weapons, non-clear bags, coolers or containers, laptops, video recorders, selfie sticks, umbrellas and strollers.

Parking

Spectators can park in the north side of Lot E-14. Parking is free on the day of the event.

Tickets can be purchased outside of the stadium in the ticket booths located along Kirby Avenue near the South Tunnel of Memorial Stadium

Souvenir Programs will be available in the Great West Hall in the stadium for $5.00. Debit and Credit Cards accepted.

Official IMBC Merchandise with school names will be available for purchase along with Marching Illini items in the West Great Hall of Memorial Stadium. Debit and Credit Cards accepted.

Concessions:

The University of Illinois concessions will be open with a variety of menu options. These spaces do NOT accept cash. Please plan to use Debit and Credit Cards or Apple Pay, etc.

4pm - depart for Morton, eat during drive to Morton

6pm - arrive at Morton and unload/put on uniform

7:10pm - warm up

8:15pm - performance

8:30pm - push back to trailers/put instruments in cases/leave uniforms on/head back to stadium

9pm - awards

9:15pm - change out of uniform/load

10pm - depart for MCHS/eat during drive home

12am - Home/unload

Stadium Rules: 

    No open containers or outside beverages of any kind are allowed in the stadium. 

    The use of alcohol, drugs, tobacco products, or vapes are prohibited on Morton High School grounds.

    No coolers or backpacks are allowed. 

    Animals, other than certified service animals, are not allowed on Morton High School grounds.

Accessible Parking:

Guests who have mobility limitations or other needs may park in our Accessible Parking spaces just behind Carper Field. Enter the lot through driveway 2.

There is very little parking available in the immediate downtown area on parade day. Most streets west of Liberty and South of High St/Liberty are closed to parking as this is the lineup area. Please plan to arrive early so you have plenty of time to find a parking space and walk to the parade area. PDF Map

Street Closures:

• Chapin, North, Jackson, Jefferson, Main, Washington streets from Wauponsee to Franklin Street

• Liberty from Illinois to the railroad tracks

• Wauponsee from south of Main Street to the alley between Washington & Illinois Avenue

• Illinois Avenue will be CLOSED Friday & Saturday night

• No parking on Benton Street from Route 47 to Wauponsee

Public Restrooms:

• The Morris Library

• The south side of the Keg Grove building

Public Parking Lots:

• Wauponsee & Illinois (across from KJ McKeon’s)

Parade Route:

The parade steps-off on Liberty and Depot Streets.  It will proceed south on Liberty to W Washington St. ending at Fulton St. The parade is normally 2 ½ hours in duration.

Spectator Parking:

Spectator Parking is located on the EAST side of NCHS Memorial Stadium. Spectator parking is accessible from Porter Ave. and Washington St. Overflow parking will be available within the neighborhood and/or Downtown Naperville parking garages (Municipal Center or Water Street Parking Facilities).

Note: Hillside Road will be closed to thru traffic for the duration of the competition.

• Centennial Beach Lot (10-minute walk via Riverwalk Park)

• Naperville Municipal Center Parking (8-10 minute walk)

• Water Street Garage (Free, 8-10 minute walk)
