In the working environment, there will be competition in the workplace, the dictatorship of the leaders, or the "sunshine and rain" change of colleagues, which is the constant change and update of technology. Combined with a volatile economy and volatile work market, we lose our direction, despite expectations that constantly evolve. We have so much to do but too little time to do it. As a result, the rest time also becomes limited.
Whether working in a traditional or progressive environment, working independently, or in an organization, you will still face many challenges at work. Do you care about your monthly earnings from work or do you wake up and work out of a desire to contribute to your future achievement? Either way, we can't turn our backs on our work but have to choose to immerse ourselves in the challenges of the workplace. There must be times when you feel stressed and confused at a challenge, completely unsure of where to begin to deal with. Where should we start to improve this? Start with consciousness. Always ask yourself questions: what happens on my mind when work ends? Is my mind working well?
Our minds are filled with untold resources and possibilities for creativity, kindness, compassion, understanding, and wisdom. Mind is like a warehouse of storage, containing great possibilities, effort, and energy. However, it can also bring a lot of trouble if it is not properly explored. We should make the most of our minds to put it in the best possible state. And through mindfulness, we can train our minds to achieve good things at work.
Mindfulness can be understood simply as moving from a thought-aware state to a thought-aware state. It is so valuable to take a moment to be quiet every day, we can also practice in the workplace.
By training the present moment, mindfulness can help us shape our behavior or get out of the boring stereotype. a real change in the way we work. These are just a few suggestions on how to apply mindfulness to the workplace.
Keep an open mind:
When we look at something we need to see the true nature of the phenomenon, or are we just the experiences that are filtered through personal thought and perception?
Our mind will try to deal with all situations manipulating familiar perception and reacting to resisting suffering. We need to be open to ourselves and receive positive thoughts. When we are in a state of always ready to receive from ourselves, we will easily accept the new from others. So always keep a pure mind and always open, seriously train the mind by maintaining curiosity, paying attention, and absorbing everything around. With that, be aware of the cues from your own body and emotions to accept and make a decision to control them instead of being controlled by them.
Learn to respond consciously instead of unconsciously:
The rigid cognitive patterns are really too restrictive in perfecting the mind and will squeeze out our lives as well. Each of us will have the ideal perspective to be able to meet these expectations. After these expectations emerge, they will be the foundation capable of influencing anger, anger, defenses, unconscious struggle, or the ability to create other dangers.
If you want to control your reactions, you first need to be aware of even the slightest impact on you. Detach yourself from yourself enough to allow yourself to judge and respond in a controlled manner as well as to understand how your body works, your emotions, and your thoughts.
Just separating what happened from your reaction from what's happening in reality, will definitely prevent you from being swayed by your old thoughts and overcoming it yourself.
The thoughts are not necessarily correct:
Instead of letting yourself be guided by past experiences, always practice coping with new experiences yourself. Not only is this useful for emotional situations, but in many others, if you don't want to miss a mile away.
Ask yourself if you have had past underestimating or unimportant attitudes about assignments? Or have you felt that you cannot think differently because you have taken care of your own empirical thoughts? Develop self-awareness in all your actions, even from the smallest habits, from those habits to help you easily evaluate big habits to correct them. From here, you can see all your actions and interact in new ways.
The more you understand your mind, the easier it will be for you to understand the minds of others. Along with that, if you want to understand other people's body language, you must understand your possible language thoroughly. Mindfulness helps you more empathize, know how to put yourself in the minds of others to understand more visually. It will also foster connections between you and those around you, helping you build relationships.
Build healthy habits:
The practice of mindfulness in the office is not just the practice of meditation such as controlling your breath, but also the practice of concentrating your mind on everything that happens in practice and stepping out of old thought patterns that are. I have been building throughout my life.
Mindfulness will suppress negative reflexes, restrict yourself from exploring new aspects of the mind and creative potential. Every time we react to a habit like using a phone while talking to everyone around us, we become aware of the behavioral and thinking limitations in that situation. In this way, mindfulness is not only limited to influencing the culture of each individual, it is also an expansive quality for cultural change in an organization. Mindfulness does not have to make rapid and breakthrough change, mindfulness will help individuals and organizations get better step by step.
