Awareness Through Movement Classes
If you, like me, are interested in further exploring and increasing your movement capacities as you get older, the Feldenkrais Method provides unique and at times intriguing movement explorations which can support and extend your current abilities (see the *link below for more on this method).
As a lifelong learner, last year I enrolled in the Feldenkrais Practitioner training. This provides me with another avenue to explore and develop the discoveries I have made through the Alexander Technique. It is increasing my movement capacities and as a practitioner, provides me with new ways to engage with others wanting to gain more easeful and efficient movement.
I am now able to invite interested people to join me in exploring the Feldenkrais Method, through Awareness Through Movement® lessons. I will guide the group through a structured sequence, using slow, mindful movement. These explorations can have powerful effects on understanding the ways in which we use ourselves habitually and finding new pathways for more ease and wellbeing in everyday life. Many of the explorations are done on the floor which allows the nervous system to let go of some habitual tensions used to stand and move.
So if you would like to build on your own learning journey, I would love you to join me for a free monthly exploration of this intriguing method.
You are invited to explore with me on:
When: Sunday 27th September, 4.30-5.45pm
Where: At your place via Zoom
Cost: Free until the end of November 2025
RSVP acarroll3155@gmail.com for further information and a Zoom link
