About Mickelson's Landing

Mickelson's landing is a wonderful place to view the Mississippi River, one of its backwater channels, wildlife, and sunsets. This is also a favorite spot for fishermen.

Amenities

Bench seat, boat ramp, informational kiosk, and a pit toilet. This site is along The Great River Trail.

How to get there:

Traveling from Route 84 between Thomson and Fulton, turn West onto Lock and Dam 13 road. Go West for a 1/4 mile, then turn right on Railroad Lane going North for one mile. Mickelson’s Landing is along the Sand Prairie Preserve to the left, just follow the signs to the river.
