The historical archive of the Museu Geològic del Seminari de Barcelona (currently being inventoried) owes its creation to Dr. Via who had the support of Dr. Solé Sabarís. This space contains the personal papers of the successive directors of the Museum, Drs. Almera, Bataller, Via and Calzada. In addition, the archives of Drs. Faura, Candel and Reig. Also, the documentary deposit of the Geology Laboratory of the University, which includes the Font i Sagué collections, that of the Geological Service of the Diputació de Barcelona, ​​heir to the former Geological Service of the Mancomunitat and that of Dr. Estanislau Ribera Faig. In addition, it incorporates the collection of professors Lluís Solé i Sabarís, Josep M. Fontboté, Manel Julivert, Oriol Riba and that of Dr. Josep Fernàndez de Villalta.
