Guide to using the shield
The animation speed of all Shield attacks as well as the movement speed when holding the Shield up is greatly increased for each level of the Shield skill.
Shields are great for supporting a team as they have the ability to block bullets and Stun other players easily. Because of their ability to block incoming fire, they're great for securing objectives.

Great for defending and securing objectives.
Can Stun easily in two attacks.
Blocking bullets increases your score.
Hard for enemies to respond to unless they understand the mechanics of the Shield.
disadvantages
Sacrifices primary weapon,
Inability to participate in long range firefights.
Vulnerable to Smoke Grenades.
Vulnerable to CQC attacks.
Much harder to use if Auto-Aim is disabled.

Focuses on maximising mobility to move objectives as fast as possible.

Allows for a CQC slam into shield bash to avoid invulnerability frames.

Focuses on holding an objective, even while being bombarded by grenades.

Focuses on improving success rate of close quarter combat by integrating knife play.

Focuses on exposing enemy locations by stunning then scanning foes.

Focuses on acting as a decoy for your team mates to capitalise on foes who aim at you.

Focuses on sharing SOP data to your team.

Instructor shows your location to the enemy team on the minimap. Use this to lure foes or their explosives to your location.
