Guide to SHotguns
The damage dealt by CQC actions, including when using a CQC Choke is greatly increased for each level of the CQC skill. The CQC skill also increases the effectiveness of your ability to break out of a CQC Grab.

Advantages
High damage per each shot in close quarters.
Can cause knockdowns in close quarters.
Strong corner ambushes.
In Drebin Point lobbies, Slug rounds can headshot.
In Drebin Point lobbies, V.Ring rounds can Stun other players.
Disadvantages
High damage falloff at mid ranges.
Inability to participate in long range firefights.
Inability to headshot can result in losing firefights.
Requires ambush tactics to effectively use.
Without the Shotgun skill, the firing rate is slow.
Example Skill Loadouts
Focuses on mobility. Very effective at ambushes and flanking. Highly recommended!
Sacrifices mobility to use Toughness LV1. Counters players who try to escape ambushes by rolling.
Focuses on the highest possible firing speed.
When Drebin Points is enabled, the Saiga with V.Ring rounds can be a niche way to use Scanner EX.
