First Person View
Due to how linked the use of First Person View is with Sniper Rifles, consider tips for Sidestepping (Dancing) to help aim & dodge headshots to be tips for setting up Sniper shots.
"Dancing" to avoid headshots
When aiming in first person, pressing left or right on the D-Pad will make your character lean or "side-step" to that side. You can use this as a way to make your character move in unpredictable ways to avoid headshots when using first person or sniper rifles!
"Dancing" to aim shots
Using side-steps alongside crouching allows you to move your cursor faster than normally possible.
If you know which series of movements can help bring your cursor closer to the enemy, you can combine leaning and aiming with the analog stick at the same time to accelerate your aiming cursor.
The top three positions are in line with the enemy's head while standing. And the lower positions are after you crouch to match when the enemy crouches!

Great for locking down long sightlines.
SVD can kill enemies in two chest shots, or three shots elsewhere.
M14EBR is a versatile weapon that covers many ranges, and has no recoil if used as a single shot marksman rifle.
Easy to abuse odd positions or sightlines to block return fire.
Combos well with Monomania to use follow up shots through cover or corners.
disadvantages
Loses to close range engagements if you miss any shots.
Better rifles are locked without spending Drebin Points
Easy to suffer from "tunnel vision" and get outflanked.
High accuracy requirement to headshot consistently.

If you're accurate enough, you don't even need the Sniper weapon skill! You can focus on ultility skills instead.
Focuses on mobility to re-position across different sightlines on the map.
Niche strategy where you use Narc 3 to highlight enemies who aim at you, and then snipe back before they can complete the shot!
