Welcome to our Early Years page.
There are many ways you can keep your Early Years music making going during lock-down and beyond and these pages are here to help. If you like, you can integrate your Early Years music making into daily life - sing and play whilst you are baking, cleaning, gardening etc. It’s fun, natural and bonding and at the same time you can be laying the foundations of pulse, rhythm and melody and a life-long love of music.
These videos will show you how! Use them how you like - either as ideas to bounce off or to join in with
If you are looking to make a more structured session - whether at home or in a school setting - why not choose a handful of varied activities to build your own session. For example; a welcome song, a whole body action song, something to focus on rhythm (or pitch or pulse), a song with made up, imaginative words and maybe something calming and familiar to finish.
To help with this, I have organised the videos in categories and in the following weeks will add more tailor made sessions for you and your children to join in with.
Have fun!
