Lesson Explanation
This lesson covers mental health where students are able to play a game with terms they have learned from lessons in class.
Students will play a game of "Exercise Hangman." If a student guesses a letter wrong, they will have to do an exercise.
The lesson is active and gives positive interaction with the students in the class while covering topics in class they are learning about.
Emotional/Social Check in- Mood Check in
This check- in is something that can be quick and easy to see how students are feeling for the day.
It is important to find times to check in with students. Having them submit it as a google form can keep answers confidential. This form can help you get a better feel on how the atmosphere in the classroom will be that day.
I want students in my class to feel safe and know they can come to me if they need it.
