Eva Hernandez (WWF Spain) and Thanos Giannakakis (WWF Greece) attended an one day workshop in Gland, Switzerland on November 27, 2017. The MedIsWet project was presented to 10 people from WWF International (Freshwater Practice) and the Ramsar Secretariat. Also, the participation of the MedisWet partners in the following European Ramsar pre-COP and the Ramsar COP was discussed. The presentation can be found here.

... the 2nd Mediterranean Natura 2000 Seminar in Cyprus, organised on November 14-16, 2017. During this seminar the inventory of Cypriot wetlands and the MedIsWet project were presented. Project goals and objectives were also discussed with Cyprus’s Ramsar focal point. In total, more than 90 experts and scientist from 8 Mediterranean countries were attended the meeting.

On November 7-9, 2017, 12 participants from 8 Mediterranean countries and 10 NGOs/Universities were participated in the 2nd training workshop & the MedIsWet kick off meeting, organised in Crete by WWF Greece.
