The Oxford Medical College Hospital and Research Centre were established by the Children’s Education Society in the year 2013. The vision of the college is to excel in the art of empowering medical professionals to be efficient in fostering global competencies through advanced technology and research inculcating ethics value-based learning.
It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and approved by MCI, New Delhi. OMCHARC courses include undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and MBBS. The college since its inception is imparting learner-centered education for excellence in knowledge, skills, and attitude in providing holistic health care services to the society with compassion, commitment, confidence, and conviction.
The college has pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical departments with experienced faculty members. Once the counselling process for the CET is done, candidates have to report to the campus on the stipulated date.
Candidate must bring along with them the original documents for on-campus document verification.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS
Aspiring candidates who wish to apply for Oxford Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, [TOMCH] Bangalore admissions 2020 need to have passed [10+2] P.U.C Examination from the state of Karnataka State with PCM and English as optional subjects or from any other equivalent examination recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
Candidates who have passed an intermediate examination in Science from an Indian University Board or other recognized body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with a practical examination and English as a compulsory subject with minimum 50% aggregate marks are eligible.
Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination for B.Sc of a recognized University provided that the candidate has at least two of the following subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% aggregate marks are also eligible.
The minimum cutoff is reduced for reserved category candidates to 40%.
Clearing any other examination which in scope and standard is found to be equivalent by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science also makes the candidate eligible.
For Foreign Nationals/ NRI candidates need to have passed a qualifying examination recognized as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences.
Eligibility criteria for Indian Nationals:
The candidate must have cleared the P.U.C examination which is conducted by the P.U.C Board, Karnataka with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
Candidate must have passed an intermediate examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology which should include a practical test in the subjects and English as a compulsory subject.
The student must have cleared a B.Sc examination from an Indian University with not less than two of the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
The candidate must have passed an intermediate Science examination from an Indian board/University with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology including a practical test in the subjects including English.
For admission to medical courses, the candidate must have obtained not less than 50% in English and 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology took together in the qualifying examination.
Based on an entrance examination for admission in the medical course, a candidate must have attained not less than 50% in English and 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying examination.
The candidate must have completed 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
Eligibility Criteria for NRIs/Foreign Nationals:
British candidates should have passed the G.C.E. examination with five subjects at least at Ordinary level and two subjects at the Advanced level or four subjects at the Ordinary level and three subjects at the Advanced level.
Candidates from Kuwait should have a General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (12-year course) conducted by the Ministry of Education Kuwait.
Students from the United Arab Emirates should have a General Secondary Education Certificate awarded by the Ministry of Education, United Arab Emirates.
USA candidates should have a 12-year High School Diploma in the USA.
For Iran candidates, they should have a Secondary School Certificate Examination (Community School Tehran), sixth-year Certificate of Secondary Schools (Ministry of Education & Training, fourth-year Diploma of the Secondary Schools.
Students from Malaysia should have a Malaysian Certificate of Education (University of Cambridge Local Exams), Higher School Certificate Exam (University of Cambridge Local Exams syndicate in collaboration with the University of Malaysia and the University of Singapore), Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia/ Sijil High School Graduation Diploma (International School of Kuala Lampur).
Note: In case of admission of SC/ ST and Category-1 candidates, the minimum required marks shall be 40%.
OMCHARC facilities include separate hostels for girls and boys and the hostels have independent and sharing rooms that are fully furnished. Each hostel has high-speed internet, study room, round clock security, mess, visitors room, and indoor and outdoor recreation facilities available.
