DA Pandu Memorial RV Dental College and Hospital is managed by Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust, was formerly affiliated with the University of Bangalore whereas now with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. DA Pandu Memorial RV Dental College and Hospital offers four-year Bachelor degree in Dental Sciences course. Additionally, candidates have to do a one-year rotating internship. Admissions to the course will be done on the basis of their scores in NEET UG entrance exam conducted by CBSE.
Candidates must have passed HSC examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, with minimum 50% marks in each subject. Those having valid score in NEET exam have to participate in KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) counselling process.
BDS Eligibility: Passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Zoology.
Key Points:
Relaxation of 10% marks in eligibility criteria is provided for SC/ ST candidates.
Candidates applying should have completed the 17 years of the age on or before 31 December 2019.
They will have to register at the KEA portal, get documents verified, participate in the choice filling and option entry and finally, college will be allotted.
At Postgraduate level, DA Pandu Memorial RV Dental College and Hospital offers MDS course in nine disciplines. Those applying to these courses must have obtained a BDS degree from a recognized university.
Additionally, applicants must have also done one year compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI). Of all the seats 50% are reserved under all India Quota; rest seats are filled under state quota.
Admission to MDS course seats is it under All India Quota or State quota is based on NEET PG entrance exam. Seats will be allotted on the basis of counselling process conducted by KEA.

For PG diploma courses candidates must have a valid score in NEET PG entrance exam. Admission to Certificate course is on the basis of qualifying exam merit.
Eligibility: Passed MDS from a recognized institute.
Key Points:
Duration of Certificate courses is six months and PG diploma courses are of one-year duration.
Certificate courses are conducted from Jan to June and July to December.
Admission to any specialization in the Doctoral program will be done on the basis of aspirant’s performance in the Personal Interview, Ph.D. proposal/Abstract, and rank secured in NEET PG Entrance Exam.
MDS Graduates satisfying interviewers’ expectation will have to participate in Karnataka Examination Authority for counseling procedure.

Candidates seeking admission to BDS courses have to qualify NEET UG and those seeking admission to MDS and PG Diploma courses have to qualify NEET PG exam.
Counselling process for both BDS and MDS courses is conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority). Seats for both the courses are allotted to eligible candidates who complete the counselling process successfully.
Steps to be followed to participate in the counselling process are:
Register at KEA web Portal
Make payment of INR 750 for BDS course (INR 1000 for PG course) as registration fee.
After Registration, the candidates have to get original documents verified at the Verification Counter.
After verification, the original documents will be returned to the candidate and KEA will retain one set of the attested photocopies of all the documents.
On successful verification, an acknowledgement cum verification slip will be issued to the candidates.
Candidates who become eligible after verification of documents will be given the high-security secret key.
They have to use this secret key to register and create a password for login at online option entry portal.
