KLE University MBBS, BDS And BAMS Admission 2020
KLE University offers undergraduate courses like MBBS, BDS and BAMS to the students who are willing to pursue their career in the field of medical science. Students are eligible for taking admission to these courses only if they have secured 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their 10+2 level. For BAMS, the required marks is just 50%
To get admission in MBBS and BDS, the eligible students need to appear in a common entrance exam, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The duration of MBBS is 4.5 years and 1 year for internship; whereas the duration for BDS is 4 years and 1 year for internship.
For BAMS, admission is entirely based on merit. Candidates just need to score 50% and above in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2 or any equivalent examination. After this, they need to appear in an entrance test conducted by the university.

KLE University offers wide range of courses to the students in the field of Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Nursing. The eligible candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exam, KLEU-UGAIET (KLE University Undergraduate All India Entrance Test), conducted by the university.
To get admission in B.Pharm and Pharm.D, students must have studied and passed Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics / Microbiology / Botany / Zoology / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Electronics securing an aggregate of 40% marks in 10+2 level. The duration is 4 years and 6 years respectively.
Students who have obtained an aggregate 40% of marks in PCB at 10+2 level are eligible to get admission in Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT). The duration period is 4 years.
Candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of nursing can get admission in B.Sc for a duration period of 4 years. Aspirants who have secured 45% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English at 10+2 level are fully eligible to seek admission. The Hospitals:
1400 bed KLE Dr. Prabhakar Kore Charitable Hospital, provides free health care in basic specialities to the poor. 1000 bed Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & Medical Research Centre provides cost effective superspeciality health care services in cardio thoracic & vascular surgery, cardiology, urology, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, neurology, paediatric surgery, cardiac anaesthesiology, nephrology, gastro eneterology, oncology, laparoscopic surgery, diabetology etc . The medical students are exposed to a holistic approach to the full spectrum of science and art of modern medical practice in low as well as high resource settings. This is one of the largest hospitals with 2400 beds under one roof. There are 26 major operation theatres and 240 ICU beds. The hospital is empanelled by many Governmental and Non Governmental health insurance schemes.
Health Centres:
Three primary Health Centre’, at Kinaye,Wantamuri and Handignur and a Urban Health Centre at Rukmini Nagar, have been taken over by the college from the Government under the Public Private Partnership. JNMC Scientific Society:

Hi-Tech Laboratories:

Clinical Skills Lab:
This is a unique facility to train the students using simulation technology. They get hands on opportunity to perform clinical procedures on models, manikins, tissues and simulators. Department of Medical Education (DOME):
Advances in health science and research in education technology necessitated the need to establish the DOME in 1980. Acknowledging its quality and identifying its potential, MCI recognized DOME as Regional Training Centre in 2011, and upgraded it to Nodal Centre in 2014.DOME conducts several programs viz.
