Eligibility Criteria and Admission Procedure
MBBS Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should have passed 12th standard and have obtained 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (taken together).
Candidates should have passed English as one of the subjects.
The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
Selection is based on the rank obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) conducted on an all India basis by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
Candidates should have the eligibility certificate from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS) to pursue medical education programmes in the state of Karnataka.
MD/MS Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have obtained a Qualified score in the PG Entrance Test conducted by the National Board of Examinations.
Candidates should have studied and passed in the courses leading to the award of MBBS Degree in colleges recognised by the Medical Council of India and affiliated to any University established by law in India.
Candidates should have completed ‘Compulsory Rotating Internship’ on or before 31st March of the admission year.
PG Diploma Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should have studied and passed in the courses leading to the award of MBBS Degree in colleges recognised by the Medical Council of India and affiliated to any University established by law in India.
Candidates should have completed ‘Compulsory Rotating Internship’ on or before 31st March of the admission year.
Candidates who have obtained a Qualified score in the PG Entrance Test conducted by the National Board of Examinations.
DM/M.Ch Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have a recognised postgraduate medical degree like MD/MS/DNB, Provisional Pass Certificate or a recognised postgraduate qualification are eligible.
PhD Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in the concerned subject
MRMC Application Form
The admission at MSRMC will be made on the basis of counseling for NEET rank holders conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Eligible candidates can apply online through the KEA website.
Registration and submission of application form will be Online only.
Registration fee is INR 500/- for SC / ST / Cat-1 / PWD candidates, INR 1000/- for General / 2A / 2B / 3A / 3B candidates and INR 2000/- for NRI / OCI / PIO / Foreign Nationals candidates. Fee should be remitted through payment gateway provided using a Credit Card or a Debit Card issued by banks in India or through Internet banking or by downloading bank challan.
They will prepare a merit list based on the qualification entered into the application form.
Listed candidates have to attend counseling conducted by the KEA.
Entrance Exams Accepted by MRMC
For admission to the MSR Medical College, candidates should have a valid score in the NEET examination. For Super Speciality course admission, candidates have a NEET - SS rank.
For MBBS course candidates should have a NEET 2020 Rank.
For MD, MS and PG Diploma courses should have qualify NEET-PG examination conducted by NBE, New Delhi.
Super Speciality Courses DM and M.Ch admission will be made on the basis of NEET - SS examination.
For Super Speciality Courses admission, the Directorate General of Health Services will conduct online Counseling. For other courses, the Karnataka Examination Authority will conduct online counseling.
MS Ramaiah College Admissions:
Ramaiah Medical College MBBS And BPT Admission 2020
Ramaiah Medical College offers MBBS and BPT courses of 4.5 years duration each plus one year of compulsory rotating internship for MBBS and 6 months of compulsory rotating internship for BPT.
To be eligible for MBBS course, candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with 50% aggregate marks in PCB along with English as a subject. For BPT program, candidates should have obtained 50% marks in the 10+2 Examination along with PCB as compulsory subjects.
For admission to MBBS program, all seats are allocated based on rank in NEET (UG) examination and centralized counselling. For BPT program, candidates are selected based on merit in the qualifying examination.

15% of the total admission or 23 seats each year is reserved for Foreign Nationals, NRI and Indian Origin Candidates.

Ramaiah Medical College MPT, MD, MS, PG Diploma Admission 2020
Ramaiah Medical College offers MD Program in 17 disciplines with total intake capacity of 68 students and MS Program in 5 disciplines with intake capacity of 22 students. It offers PG Diploma course in 7 disciplines having a total capacity of 18 students. The duration of MD/MS course is for three years and the duration of PG Diploma Course is two years. It also offers an MPT course with 5 elective combinations and has intake capacity of 20 students. The duration of MPT Program is two years with 6 months compulsory rotating internship.
For MD/MS and PG Diploma courses, candidates should have obtained MBBS degree from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India. For MPT course, candidates should have obtained BPT degree.
For admission to MD/MS and PG Diploma Course, seats are allocated on the basis of rank obtained in NEET PG. For MPT course, selection is based on marks secured in the qualifying examination.

Ramaiah Medical College DM & M.Ch Admission 2020
Ramaiah Medical College offers Super Specialty courses – DM in 6 disciplines with intake capacity of 13 students and MCH in 5 disciplines with intake capacity of 9 students.
To be eligible for DM courses, candidates should have passed MD/DNB in a relevant discipline. For MCH, candidate must have passed MS/DNB from recognized institution by MCI.
Selection to the courses is done on the basis of NEET.
Ramaiah Medical College Ph.D. Admission 2020
Ramaiah Medical College offers full time/ part time Ph.D. Program in five disciplines. To be eligible for Ph.D. program, candidates should have passed MD/M.Sc. degree. MSc candidates should have 55% marks in the respective subject. For Ph.D. in Physiotherapy, candidates should have MPT Degree.
For admission to Ph.D. courses, candidates can apply twice a year to the Registrar, RGUHS, in April-May and October-November. After passing the criteria, candidates have to appear for an interview and make a presentation of Ph.D. protocol with/without their guide before the committee. Selected candidates will be referred to the Vice-chancellor for provisional registration.

MS Ramaiah College Hostel Details:
MRMC provides various facilities to its students. MRMC facilities include hostel facilities for both girls and boys. The girl's hostel is located in the Triveni Block and the Boy's hostel is in the Nilgiri Block and Ganga Block. Girl's hostel accommodates around 680 members while Boy's Hostel accommodates 310 members.
Wifi is fully enabled on the campus. The hostel provides both double and single rooms with attached bathrooms and they provide the best housekeeping services. There is a common TV room inside the building. There is a mess which provides good food for the students.
