Paul has extensive experience as a Freelance Social Media Consultant employing current social media and online digital content and developing social strategies to help maximize opportunities for clients.
Paul’s specialism is in Photography and image manipulation and, as a member of the Media Production team, delivers Interactive and Trans-Media modules including branding, web development, video production, photography, graphics and sound. He also delivers Contextual and Professional Practice modules, specializing in the use of social media as an independent broadcasting and publishing tool.
Paul was nominated for his teaching and tutorship in the 2017 Student Choice Awards*.

Paul has over 25 years of experience in delivering industry relevant, Film and Media Production education based his own production experience as a freelance broadcast Lighting Cameraman, DoP and Editor, Creative Director on international corporate commissions and, more recently, as a Scriptwriter and Director of short films for the BBC and international film festivals.
Paul was the Course Leader from 2015 - 2024, has also been awarded for Excellence and Innovation in Learning and Teaching Practice, Student Learning Support and has been a finalist for his course leadership and teaching in the Student Choice Awards*.
Viv Mainwaring, BA
Visual Storytelling & TV Studio Production
Viv is an award winning Cinematographer, Director and Editor; for twenty years a respected worker in the American film industry, honoured in all areas of ability with awards including the New York International Film Festival Gold Medal and ten times a finalist and the winner of a Clio statuette, America’s top award for TV commercial production.
As a member of the Media Production team Viv delivers Studio Multi-Camera, Location Single Camera, Lighting and Editing modules and workshops. Viv has been nominated for two student Choice Awards* for his teaching.
Viv recently had one of his art works selected in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (pictured).
Mandy Carpenter, BA, MA
Client Brief & Interactive, Development Package & Professional Freelance Practice
Mandy has worked as a documentary filmmaker for over 30 years producing a wide and eclectic mix of work. She has extensive experience in producing, planning, funding, budgeting, scheduling, working with external clients such as charities, public organisations, and community groups. Within additional experience in Avid editing, live events, and scriptwriting.
As a member of the Media Production Mandy delivers modules centred on working with clients both internal and external, planning and development, pitching, getting ready for the employment sector and live events, in additional to supporting colleagues with trans-media.

Lyndon Jones, BA
Sound Design & Visual and Aural Storytelling, Professional Freelance Practice
Lyndon has been a Producer of documentary programmes for BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4 for over twenty years. He has also produced live, multi-camera music films, webcasts and podcasts for major international organisations, including the BBC.
Lyndon’s experience has also included the creation of exhibition soundscapes, the executive production and engineering of commercial music recordings and online coverage of the Hay Festival, Bath and Cheltenham Music festivals.
As a member of the Media Production team Lyndon delivers Location and Studio, Factual and Drama Sound Recording, Design and Editing modules and workshops.
Lyndon was nominated in 2017 for the Student Choice Awards* for his teaching.
