complete global physical relaxation which differs from progressive relaxation,
global means experiencing the relaxation through our whole being (body AND mind),
effortless relaxation allows the mind to slow down and then become still,
while in slight (!) discomfort ie. so the mind transcends the slight discomfort,
For those that have mastered Stillness Meditation the basics there is a complete program of ever increasing transcendible discomfort. This means it is always felt as slight but increases by increments. The result is a deeper experience of stillness. Many people seem to have difficulty grasping the concept. It is real and easier to understand through experience than in words on the page.
Letting the effect of this meditation flow on through daily life (ie living calm and at ease).
In summary, effortless relaxation that transcends slight discomfort allows a deep experience of Stillness that flow onward into daily living. Relaxation brings calm and transcendance brings ease - ultimately - the ability to face up to your destiny in moments of pleasure and very difficult situations.
