User Context:
Primary user- Anxiety therapy patients
Demographics and behaviors - Women, aged 18-29. Disengage from treatment and homework due to lack of specifications and get bored with alternative treatments due to lack of variety and non-customizable features.
Pain points/frustration- The need for well-articulated CBT homework that encourages women to take control of their therapy and strive for continuous improvement.
Problem Statement: How can we help young women, aged 18-29, be more engaged in their Anxiety therapy experience outside of the therapy space?
Supporting Data: See below for visualization of data
Constraints and Considerations: Internet excess, cost, awareness of administered treatment, avoiding overstimulation, including variety and customizability.
Desired Outcome: A successful solution to this problem would drive up the anxiety treatment success rate for young women. Women would be able to feel confident in their treatment and go on to not be burdened by their anxiety.
When aiming to form a solution for women therapy patients, it is also important to consider the therapists who are ultimately deciding the patients treatment path.

Insights
Patients who are prescribed homework by their therapists often report better treatment outcomes as it helps patients apply what they learned in therapy
Outcomes of 14 studies comparing CBT homework patients to non-homework patients revealed the average patient prescribed homework reported better results than 70% of those not prescribed
Non-adherence stands as the biggest factor working against CBT homework, with an average of 20%-50% of patients
This is often due to a lack of discussion of homework between patient and therapist and patients no longer seeing it as important
Feedback from the therapist, specific instruction/expectations, discussion of potential obstacles and solutions, and proper homework acknowledgment with the patient(such as follow-up questions and praise for completing) help push back against non-adherence
Recording the homework helps with discussion in a later therapy date
This includes the interaction or event and anxiety levels associated
