MBMS is pleased to offer many AAPI books in the collection thanks to a generous donation and  collaboration with book author, Yobe Qiu (www.byyobeqiu.com), Scholastic books, and TeachAAPI (https://teachaapi.org/.

With their help, we are happy that MBMS can offer a set of books representing a diverse range of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) authors and themes to augment the school library.

They hope that adding these books to the MBMS library will provide students with a way to listen to stories about people sharing their life experiences that may be similar or different from their own.
