This is the Catalog of print/paper books and resources in the physical MBMS campus library.

+    At the Follett Destiny website, click the link to Manhattan Beach Middle School in the 'Middle School' section in the upper right corner of the site.  Then you will be connected to the Follett Destiny Library catalog of MBMS.

+     Click on the CATALOG tab in the upper left of the screen to search the MBMS catalog of materials.  You can narrow or expand your search parameters as desired.  You can browse or search for topics, titles, genres and also see if items are available.

+     Explore the site as you wish.  There are various views which are a user’s choice.

+     If you wish, from the main screen of the Destiny site, you may also click on links to the library catalogs of the other schools in the district. This web-based interface enables our students, staff, and parents to have access to a unified catalog of all holdings in MBUSD school libraries, and it promotes library to classroom to home learning and connectivity.

PLEASE RETURN YOUR OVERDUE LIBRARY AND TEXTBOOKS TO THE MBMS LIBRARY

Still have library and textbooks from the last couple of school years due to COVID and Distance Learning? (2019-2020; 2020-2021)   Thank you for keeping your books safe but it is time to return them to MBMS.  Please contact the MBMS librarian at comeara@mbusd.org to arrange the drop off of your overdue library and textbooks or just bring them to the MBMS library Circulation desk.  The returned items will be scanned back into the circulation system.  Once the item is returned in good condition, the fine/fee for that item will be removed from the student account.

Current 6th-grade students who still have library books from their former elementary school sites may return them to the MBMS library.

Please note:  the library record will follow the student across all levels/schools of MBUSD.  Overdue items and fines/fees will remain on the library record until resolution.  Students may experience a registration Hold at Mira Costa High School if there are outstanding items/fines/fees on the library record.
