Book Talks
A book talk is a short, casual presentation about a book with the goal of engaging the listener and convincing other people to read it. It’s not a formal book report or review. Have fun and get creative to 'sell' the book to other readers.

MIDDLE-GRADE BOOK CLUB:Â
Meets monthly, generally on the third Wednesday of each month at 4:30 pm. Meetings are currently over Zoom or in the {Pages} Courtyard for safety.
Focus is on middle-grade fiction. Book selection is done by voting prior to each meeting so that the following month’s book will be available at the preceding month’s meeting.

Page Turners Book Club
PAGE TURNERS BOOK CLUB: (Check with Pages for status of this particular book club).
A book club just for 8th and 9th graders. Meets monthly, generally on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:00 pm. Meetings may be over Zoom or in-person in the {Pages} Courtyard for safety. Â
Participants meet to read and talk about books from all genres, selected by group members from books suggested by a {Pages} staff member. Join your friends, meet new friends, and enjoy an hour of “book talk” in the {Pages} courtyard.
WANTED: Students to create their own Book Talks! Â
