Cheese & Wine Club

Saturday evenings were possibly the greatest time of each week as we shared the evening with our neighbors, Monique, Jon and Marie-Claire. Each Saturday we took it in turn to prepare cheese and wine snacks and we would gather for our social highlight of the week.

While the Island is about 45km wide and 61km long, we travelled a total of 2,660 km during the 6 weeks and saw all the tourist sites including wonderful beaches and restaurants that were not obvious tourist destinations.

I loved Mauritius as I was kept busy with kite surfing, snorkeling, swimming, diving, hiking and site seeing. Lynne enjoyed Mauritius but found time crept by too slowly as her interests are not the same as mine and was therefore not kept as busy.
