2022

The 2022 Season has started with some very odd weather. In early February we had 3-4 days in the 60s and then a quick drop back into the teens and 20s. This happened again on February 16-18 so we tapped out on February 14-15 (108 total). This past summer was wet and had some violent storms - we lost 10 trees around our lines - 6 being maples that we had tapped for years. With all the Ash trees removed the canopy has opened up allowing more light. I believe the higher sugar content is a result of this and the wet summer.
