In this study, an additive processing technique to create nano/micro-scale structures by integrating nanoparticles is proposed using the localization technique by the optical radiation pressure potential formed by a laser beam. Normally, the focused beam's processing resolution is determined by the diffraction limit and thermal affected zone. However, the proposed method shows no thermal effect, so the particle size mainly determines the processing resolution. This advanced and new processing technology is expected to provide high resolution, high shape flexibility, a wide range of material flexibility, and processing in an air environment.

本研究では、集光ビームによって形成される光放射圧ポテンシャルの谷にナノ粒子を局在化する技術を利用し、ナノ粒子を集積化することでナノ/マイクロスケールの構造を創成する付加加工技術を提案している。通常、集光ビームによる加工技術は、回折限界に加え熱影響によって加工分解能が決まる。この手法では、熱影響が一切無く、主に粒子サイズによって加工分解能が決まるため、非常に高い分解能、高い形状自由度、幅広い材料自由度、空気中環境での加工が期待できる先進的で新しい加工技術である。
