Materials: Acrylic paint on a log and log disks, yarn
Denotation: Based on John 15:4 this piece talk about our need for consistant communion with the Lord. We must remain in communion with God in order to produce fruit. These fruits are love, joy, peace, forebearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Gal. 5:22-23). If we are not connected to him we become like a branch that is withered and death. The longer we are away from the vine the more that all the fresh fruit we had once produced... rots.
"Remian in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
John 15:4-5
