Silhouette Cameo 4 Pro Setup

You may have already started dreaming up creative ideas, as now the all-new Silhouette Cameo 4 Pro is in your hands. But before you can start experimenting with those delicate vinyls or cardstock, a proper setup is necessary. Take a quick look at these simple steps to set up your Cameo 4 Pro: 

• Plug the power adapter into the machine and then into a power source. 

• Use the USB cable to connect the crafting machine to your PC. 

• Download and install Silhouette Studio software from the official silhouetteamerica.com website. Choose only the latest version of Silhouette Studio when downloading. 

• Open Silhouette Studio on your PC, find the machine icon, and click on Send. 

• The software will detect the Cameo 4 Pro machine. If you are using a USB connection, your Cameo 4 Pro’s name will appear automatically. 

• If using Bluetooth, then you must check if Bluetooth is enabled on both your computer and Silhouette Cameo 4 Pro.

• Just tap on the Bluetooth icon on the machine’s display, and it’ll turn blue.

• From the Send panel, click the Bluetooth option for your Cameo 4 Pro. Follow the remaining prompts to complete the setup successfully. 

Always select the right cut settings. Avoid using a dirty or damaged mat, and load the mat or material correctly. Don’t skip the firmware update step if prompted.
