I have decided to include my blog post reflection from Jody's workshop, Accessing Learning and Educational Apps as my signature assignment for this course.

Exploring Educational Apps

Learning Objectives:

In this module, participants will:

• Explore the educational apps in both the Google Play Store and iTunes.
• Locate and install key apps such as Google Tools, QR code readers, iBooks, Maps, Twitter, etc.
• Explore and identify content specific apps connected to the Common Core.
• Develop a plan for integrating apps into the classroom.

The learning objectives for this course indicated the importance of identifying apps connected to the common core. The common core standards focus on the need for students to be creators - not just consumers, and our work in this course helped me identify great tools to help my students do that both on iPads and Chromebooks.

Our workshop leader, Jody, was very inspiring and shared her top tools which I found incredibly helpful, since there are so many tools available to use.
