This training is in-person, instructor-led, and is for agency personnel only.

Target Group: Recreation, fire, wildlife, fisheries, botany, silviculture, heritage resource specialists, and other staff from land management agencies who are interested in becoming or have already been a fire resource advisor. This course will provide an excellent opportunity for fire and natural resource specialists to work together to better understand the challenges of fire suppression on our natural landscapes.

Target Audience: Qualified READ, REAF or ARCH who have served or are expecting to serve as a REAC.
Description: This course is intended to provide participants with the foundation to serve as Resource Advisor, Coordinator (REAC) or also known as ‘Lead READ’ during wildland fire incidents. REAC/Lead READ works with Agency Administrators, Agency Representatives, Incident Management Teams and local units to address resource issues (natural, cultural, etc.) that arise during wildland fire operations.
