QR Codes
Nowadays, given the COVID-19 pandemic, QR codes are everywhere as an alternative to paper handouts like restaurant menus, business cards, and event flyers. Just like VR and AR, they provide direct access to a resource you might not be able to have access to without it, routing you directly to your desired information. Typically, your standard phone camera is able to capture QR codes and present you with a link, but occasionally, you might have to download a QR code reader that serves the same function.
