Green Screen Videos

Out of all of the resources we have discussed, the green screen is probably the most common tool that you have seen everyday. The weatherman, Marvel movies, and outer space films all rely so heavily on the use of a green screen to create an easily manipulated background to edit into the desired environment.

In your classroom, this can be done by making your own green screen, using a chroma key compatible color, the most common being lime green, and painting a wall, hanging paper, securing fabric to make a blank slate for your students to film in front of and then edit using software.
