A railway station is one of the most crowded and noisy places. Besides the passengers, some people come to receive their friends or relatives and some come to see them off. Hawkers cry their wares and railway porters in red uniforms wait for the train.
People flock around tea stalls, book stalls, etc. Some buy magazines or newspaper. Some are sipping their tea.
Every now and then the loudspeaker announce arrival of the next train. When the train arrives, there is a great rush of passengers. Some try to get down while others try to get in. This is a scene of utter confusion, sound and struggle. There is a great deal of noise and bustle then.
The station becomes a little quit after the train has left.
