Chronology in narrative format:
Mostly home schooled until about age 10. No ordinary home schooling, parents were the principal teachers; father a professional writer, editor, and eventual policy office director, mother a teacher and eventual attorney.
Before age 10, in opportunities to learn outside the house, there were some learned individuals that taught me elements of an array of subjects, including Arabic, and history. Was able to produce commensurate levels of Arabic calligraphy around that point.
From age 10 on through completion of high school, in the main remained in one school. The school had Arabic language a part of the curriculum. Grades were fairly good, with seldom dips around average. High school GPA recalling was upward of about 3.5.
(I moved residences from NW Washington to northern Virginia before HS graduation.)
Before graduating high school, at the strong recommendation of my parents, I took a trig course at Northern Virginia Community College.
While in junior and high school, extracurricular activities were sports of wrestling as the forte, and lacrosse; Model United Nations.
Research interests at the time were subtopics of environmental studies, such as major pollution issues, and emerging technologies; global political issues; international relations; betterment of US socioeconomic conditions through US policy.
Immediately after HS graduation, I took some summer study at Carnegie Mellon University. Initially I eyed civil engineering, with environmental and public policy studies mixed in, as primary area of study, degree program, and begun; the idea of the whole as career readiness.
Spring of 1995, I attended at a tenuous level City Colleges if Chicago, on site in Chicago, for a semester.
Summer of 1995, attended Catonsville Community College, now subsumed in the Community College of Baltimore County system.
In 1999 I attended a professional school for a web design course, and obtained a certificate.
At about the start of year 2000, at the behest of my parents, I did not attempt to resume study at Carnegie Mellon, even though I had set forth for a success track to do so. Parent's behest was a college/university close to their northern Virginia home. Balancing that with maintaining a pursuit of education that included environmental study at bachelor level, reputable college/university, I began study at Towson University.
In facilitating and expediting degree completion I went back to CCBC and concurrently took courses until obtaining an AA there and finished undergrad at Towson with a bachelor's in political science about a year later.
In pursuit of computer strengthening I took courses at Allegany College of Maryland summer.
Maintaining an interest in homeland security for most of the while since the 90s, I started wading into the waters of study in the field at Towson.
I went to Wilmington University for the greater portion of homeland security studies, choosing online courses as much possible but not all, and obtained a Masters Degree, studies completed in 2015.
In 2017 I started a second bachelor online program in Criminal Justice at California Coast University. Completed 2019, summa cum laude.
