Terra - Origins | Update Notes

Following the excavation of the Forever Fortress, massive rainbow crystals shot through the ground. Shortly after, they overloaded with power, warping medieval lands from the arena's past to the present day. Welcome to Terra Origins.

New Locations

Ruler's Rise

• A massive castle atop a hill, this huge named location resides on the northern edge of the map. 

• Watch out for the King's Guards, ready to kill at first sight of a threat.

Griffin's Glen

• The bustling hub for inter-kingdom trade, this lakeside town is a place to remember. 

• Located smack-dab in the middle of the map, this location sees the most endgames.

Gameplay Updates

Battle Mods

• Taking the place of Classes, Battle Mods are less-powerful abilities that augment gameplay in unique ways. Battle Mods are sorted into three categories:

Ferocity Mods

Bullet Amp 

• Amplifies all bullets shot, increasing damage by 1.2x permanently. 

Starting Loadout 

• Start match with Common Combat Pistol, however it has no ammo. 

Adrenaline 

• For the first 90 seconds of a match, you gain 1.5x move speed and deal 1.25x damage.

Resilience Mods

Armored 

• Overshield equipped, 50 total. 

Defense Master 

• Start the match with a full stack of cow catchers and 5 armored walls. 

Master Builder 

• Harvest materials 1.5x as fast and hold more materials than normal.

Adaptability Mods

Revitalized 

• Passively heal over time. 

Medic 

• Chests have a chance to drop extra healing.

Building Update

The new biome is very vertical, with incredibly high peaks with steep drops. With this, I wanted to discourage players from building and use a more strategic playstyle. To achieve this, I have: 

• Capped Materials at 100

• Increased building health: 

• Wood: 1.4x Health 

• Brick: 1.7x Health 

• Metal: 2.0x Health 

• Increased Harvest Rate to 2.0x.
