On March 20th and 22nd the Islamic celebration of Eid Al Fitr takes place. Muslims from around the world come together for a holiday of celebration. In the morning Muslims have an Eid prayer where they either go to the mosque or their local park and when Muslims finish their praying they spend time with friends and family and also eat delicious food. On Eid we get gifts from our family and friends , people celebrate Eid around the world. people go to mosque on Friday to read Jumma. people wear nice clothes on Eid, and take lovely pictures with their family and have dinner and desserts. people go to their family members houses and they spend time there. Muslims gives food to their neighbours because people get rewarded for the good deeds. people know when Eid is because The sighting of the new crescent moon (hilal) marks the official end of Ramadan and the start of Eid al-Fitr, sighting the beginning of the 10th month (Shawwal) in the Islamic lunar calendar. people put Eid Mubarak songs on YouTube and on the speaker to enjoy with family.
Ramadan is the time where Muslims fast for a whole month and don't eat or drink for the entire day. The time they break their fast is called Iftar and Muslims break their fast by eating dates and delicious food. Every night during Ramadan Muslims go to the mosque to do the Tarawih prayer and the first day of Tarawih happens the night before Ramadan. In Ramadan people give to charities, and to the people who don't have anything. during Ramadan people read the Quran during the day and night.
