  • Grant the Body of Iron: This power is the gift the Witch of Iron grants to her chosen warriors. It fully heals the chosen warrior over the course of the ritual, and exchanges their wounds with living, flexible iron. This grants the lucky male a permanent bonus to soak (+1 if they have a wound penalty of -3 or more, or +2 if they have a -5 or more, or a +3 for a wound penalty of -7 or more.

Vis: 2 Terram vis in the iron -bound bones of her left arm

The Witch of Iron is one of a small group of selfish Giant hags who prey (or reward?) brave warriors. The hag stays at her hovel, formed by large trees twisted together into a hut and bound by chains of rusting iron. A massive stone stewpot sits outside her front door, and a disturbingly savory and meaty stew always cooking. She welcomes people bringing 'gifts' to add to her stewpot (And she will stew flesh, spices, stones and metal together) and will share the meal with them. [Supping on the stew will have a lesser effect of Grant the Body of Iron, healing a random wound but possibly requiring an appropriate personality roll or 9+ since the stewpot may contain unknown flesh, rusting armor, or stranger things].

The Witch of Iron will offer a sufficiently wounded warrior a chance to rest in her hovel, and take them to bed with her. Going through with mating the witch requires a Brave or Lustful roll of 12+ due to the hideousness of the monstrous giant hag, unless mitigating circumstances make it emotionally easier (Such as Mentem magic).

The Witch of Iron cannot corrode precious metals. If she is presented with a silver mirror, the mirror will shatter when she looks into it, and she will flee screaming.
