Lamp of Flaring Lights

Hristos, of House Flambeaux, was a young mage new to his covenant when some unknown interlopers snuck into their territory and stole away vis from one of their vis sources. While someone else had to deal with fixing their grog patrols, Hristos was assigned to craft an item to allow them to signal the covenant if something amiss happened. He decided with experimentation, he could make a more impressive item, and the covenant was donating the vis needed to craft it, so he wouldn't lose anything if it went wrong.

Lamp of Flaring Lights (Creo Ignem [Imaginem] 12)

R: Sight, D: Momentary, T: Group

This is a burnished lamp has a number of colored glass beads set on its sides, and is designed to be hooked into a belt loop. When the command phrase is called out, and the lamp waved into the air, a burning brand of light will burst into the air of different colors based on the glass beads set into the lamp. Because of Hristos's sigil, a whirling sword of fire spins out to the targeted point before exploding into a glowing, briefly hovering burst of flame.
