What is ACE?
The ACE Program is LBVSA's big-little, mentor-mentee program. When you first join ACE, you will be paired up with a big (a returning member of VSA who is already a part of a family) and placed in a family. ACE is a great way to meet more people within VSA and find a family within the community.
Why should you join ACE?
ACE is a great program to get to know people and to be more involved within VSA. This program gives members many opportunities to bond with other VSA members one-on-one!
Here are the frequently asked questions about our ACE program!
What can I expect from my big or little, or being in a family?
Go out to eat, talk, and bond with your big/little/family.
Do random hobbies that you guys share a common interest in. (Some of our families last year had baking nights, learning-how-to-cook nights, knitting days, movie days together, photoshoots together, game nights, etc. With so many unique people, we really do a lot of stuff together in families and out!)
Bond even more at ACE Events, such as park days, ice skating days, and hiking!
Get close and really personal to your big/little/family, and create lifelong bonds with each person.
