Why Join?

You know how they say college is the best time of your life? Well, it definitely is. And VSA can be a big part of the reason.

CSULB is a big campus. Lots of things go on here. Sometimes, it’s hard to figure out what’s going on. Other times, you wonder how you can meet new people when students in your class are so engaged in their studies and not so much their social lives. Well, check out VSA.

VSA offers:

A broad spectrum of fun events,
Close lifelong friendships,
Networking opportunities,
An opportunity to become involved in an organization on campus,
College memories, among other things

We hold fun-filled events every week. There’s always something to do. Some quick examples of what we offer? Our annual Thanksgiving Potluck, many many fun After Events, A.C.E Events to bond with your big/little/family, Clubbing Events, Vietnamese Culture Night (VCN), along with going out to various other external events hosted by other schools, and so much more that we couldn’t list them all.

We consistently have 100+ members each year, and we keep growing more and more with every semester. Now, you may think it will be hard to meet others in VSA because there are so many members, but don’t worry. See, what’s really special about VSA is our Big-Little system. Being in a family with your bigs and littles gives you a small group of people you can become great friends with, along with all our members overall who'll always gladly welcome new faces to their lives. You’ll have fun coming out to whatever random outings we'll have! You can go to VSA Events together! Go to Buffalo Wild Wings for happy hour! Go study together and ace your classes!

And even more so, the fact that we never exclude anyone and welcome everyone to our nerdy, derpy family of a cultural club, is what keeps people here and proud to be a part of our family.

How to Join:

Just come out to our general meetings if you're free at 5:30pm on Thursdays! We normally host our meetings at the Lecture Hall 151 on the upper campus.
