Here's all of the frequently asked questions LBVSA board has gotten regarding the ACE program! If you have any more questions that aren't here feel free to contact us at ace.lbvsa@gmail.com.
Families are groups of big-little pairs that have similar interests. When you are picked up, your big is already a part of a family.
Littles are new members to LBVSA, regardless of year or age, who have not been paired up with a big.
Bigs are returning members of LBVSA who have already been picked up within a family. Bigs must be at least a 2nd-year who has spent one semester with LBVSA.
You can expect to be paired with a person who is like minded and has similar interests to you! The hope is that you will be put in a family that you can hang out with and spend a lot of time with!
As of right now we have 8 active families. They are Ohana, Krystal, Blanco, C-Fam, H2O, Willies, Support, and Sola.
Pairings are done by a committee of board and intern members chosen by the ACE co-chairs. The committee looks at all of the ACE apps and looks for similarities between the different applications. We try to use all of the information in the applications to create our pairings. It's super important that y'all fill out the application with as much detail as possible!
In order to apply for the ACE program you must fill out the ACE application and attach a photo before the application due date. There may be additional requirements, so please look at the application for them.
ACE Picnic is an event the weekend after reveals targeted towards new littles. It is a competition between families to see which fam is on top!
