Globe Theatre

It is a replica of the original "Globe", Shakespeare's theatre. It is near its original location on the River Thames. It was built in 1997 using the same materials (wood, straw) and stucture methods as the original one. There is no roof. Inside there is a museum with permanent exhibitions. The Globe is one of the most important icons in London.
