Regent's Park

Regent's Park is one of the most famous parks in London. It .has an outer ring road called the Outer Circle (4.45km) and an inner ring road called the Inner Circle (1km), which surrounds the most carefully tended section of the park, Queen Mary's Rose Gardens. Sports are played in the park including cycling, tennis, athletics, cricket, football, hockey, rugby, running and boating on the lake. There are three playgrounds and nine villas in the park. Inside Regent's Park, there is the London Zoo, the oldest zoo in the world. Near the park there 'is Baker street, Sherlock Holmes' house. The park was also the set of Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone.
