Built and designed on the basic concepts of lightness, economy and speed of construction, the O2 was conceived in a very short period, from June 1997 until the beginning of 1999, for about 15 months. . It has become one of the United Kingdom's most recognizable landmarks and It is the eighth largest building in the world.
