Due to Covid 19 band performances and rehearsals are on hold
The Moonliter"s Big Band (2016)
Growing out of London’s big band tradition, the Moonliters gather weekly throughout the year to read through an extensive and challenging collection of jazz and swing charts. The group creates a dynamic and fun atmosphere while performing exciting swing music that recalls dance hall days in Port Stanley, Grand Bend, Ipperwash, and Wonderland Gardens. The band opens the Wortley Village Jazz & Blues Festival every August, and has been featured at the Springbank Gardens Concert Series at London’s Guy Lombardo Pavilion.
The seventeen piece band rehearses most Tuesdays from 7.30 - 9.30 pm at the Lambeth Legion on Kilbourne. Listeners and dancers are always welcome.
