Work in progress. Last update 01.05.26
Check correct devices have been associated (remember Theatre number does not correspond with Device number)
Check macro has been executed.
Check CCE correctly operational
x1 green tick (top left corner and it's tiny!) – network connection if missing - check ethernet cable connected from port to CCE and then re-start CCE
x2 green circles (middle of screen) – receiving data from DAs
if absent, pull out both USB cables from CCE and plug back in
Recurrent problem for you?
If you are Suspending Case when moving from Anaesthetic Room to Theatre - it may be that you are selecting 'Select All' rather than 'Unselect All' during this process ['Unselect All' needs to be chosen since we do not want data flow to stop]
Follow above steps.
For arterial and CVP values
Check that the monitoring screen on the anaesthetic machine is correctly labelled as ‘ART’ (and not ‘GP1’ for example). Similarly labelled ‘CVP’ and not ‘GP2’ etc’.
BIS, TOF, Propfol and Remifentantanil TCI
These data need to be manually added.
Masimo Sedline
These data need to be manually inputted. There is no parameter field currently - please enter the PSI value in the BIS field and add a Freetext note to indicate that 'BIS values = Masimo PSI'
Check that the time on the vital signs monitor is correct.
If this does not solve the problem, please raise a ticket and email it to the Anaesthesia Digital Lead.
Toolbar at top of page - Document -> Values
Highlight and select all fields by clicking on the cell in the top left corner
Click ‘Pull Values’ then ‘Record’ on the right hand side of the window
Click 'Ok'
(If values don’t pull back in, the disconnection has exceeded the look back time of the parameters and the device, so parameters will need to be manually entered)
If you need to enter retrospective data from before the macro was executed:
Click on one of the parameter boxes at the time the first clinical parameter was obtained on the Anaesthetic Chart itself
Manually enter the parameter value
Toolbar at top of page - Document -> Values
Manually enter all the remaining clinical parameter values for all parameters you wish to record
Click 'Ok'
Close Case Selection window
Top menu bar, next to the ‘Help’ option, hover mouse next to it and press Shift, Alt, Control + right click (all at once!)
Select 'Untick all'
Click 'Ok'
On subsequent launch of the Anaesthesia application, you should no longer receive these alerts
