Restart your computer at the start of shift (minimises risk of forced restart mid-case because of mandatory software updates)
Check CCE panels in Anaesthetic Room and Theatre are correctly operational before each case
Use your Explicit Login to login to the Anaesthesia app (to prevent being timed out of the record after a period of inactivity)
Check your patient has been 'admitted' on Surginet before starting case (otherwise you will not be able to prescribe any medication on the electronic drug chart) (For elective surgery patients, if the patient cannot be admitted, suggested escalation pathway: Surgeon -> Service Manager -> Scheduler)
Switch off computer at end of shift.
