Can't Finalise the Case?

This error message appears when there is a drug or a fluid incompletely documented (e.g. dose missing or infusion not stopped). 

1. Click 'Continue'

2. Check all doses of medications have been documented 

3. Check all infusions/fluids have been stopped 

If completing steps 2+3 haven't been the cause:

4. Open the patient medication chart in the same encounter as the anaesthetic chart - i.e. use the 'Patient Record' icon on the anaesthetic chart and try to finalise the anaesthetic chart again. [This should let Cerner understand that you have an 'an active encounter relationship' with the patient].  

If step 4 doesn't solve the issue:

5. Suspend case

6. Make a note on Powerchart to explain that the Anaesthetic Chart could not be finalised at the end of the case and that the Anaesthetic Chart can be temporarily be viewed in 'Suspended' format
