As part of our survey, students had told us that they did not visit the library as stock was 'old'.
It was true, many books had been in the library for years and had not been borrowed.
However, many of these books were still in great condition.
As part of the refurbishment of the library we removed a lot of excess stock on the shelves to make room for authors and titles that the students had requested
We did not want to throw out so many books as they were still in very good condition.
We tried to find new homes for our much loved books! At lunch time for one week we held a book sale.
