Mere Gonzalez
Co-founder Artistic Director of Lines Dance Academy
From the young age of 13, Mere discovered his lifelong passion for dance — a passion that would define his artistic journey. His love for salsa opened the door to remarkable opportunities, leading him to perform and compete on national television with Televisa México, including an invitation to the iconic TV show Mala Noche No, hosted by the legendary Verónica Castro.
During this vibrant era of Latin dance, Mere shared the stage with many of the most recognized dancers of his generation, gaining not only experience and artistry but also a broader vision of what dance could achieve — a way to connect people and cultures through rhythm and emotion.
Bringing his talent, discipline, and creative vision to Oregon, Mere became the driving artistic force behind Lines Dance Academy, helping transform it into a place where passion, family, and community come together through the power of dance. His legacy continues to inspire dancers to pursue their dreams with heart and determination.
